Patch 0.2
2.0 Patch Notes test
New
- The Training Shift: a seven-round guided match against an instructor. Each round teaches one part of the work, with every move marked on the ground. It can be taken any time from the single-player page.
- A short cold open and the conscription notice greet new players on their first start.
- Field manual guides: The Front, Plain Words, Jobs and Weather, plus a table of every track and what its job is.
- Patch notes in the game: the version on the title opens them, and the first start after an update shows what changed.
Battle
- Bots have personalities. Each one blends four doctrines (Shock, Depth, Armoured, Siege) in its own mix, with a quirk of its own, and shifts them round by round: a breached bot digs in, a bot facing open ground attacks.
- Every bot now builds defenses and brings support: medics, repair vehicles, carriers, engineers and observers, matched to what its squads hold.
- Bots that have seen your vehicles bring anti-tank, and every wave they send takes tank hunters against armour.
- Bots spend smarter: better copies, extra rerolls and tech when they are saving up or held back by the era.
Interface
- The top bar now explains itself: a caption on the timer, era pips with a note on eras, and weather icons for this round and the next two. Hover the weather for the full forecast.
- Allocation shows next round's pay. The shop's lean is now called DEALS, with 0-50% notches.
- Card bands carry a short note on each card's job, at the counter and in the depot.
- NOTICES (how many hints you get) and REPLAY INTRO are on the single-player page.
- The title shows the game's version, and test builds show their build number too, for bug reports.
- When the server turns away an old build, it says which patch is out.
Fixes
- Fixed a crash when a man revived by a medic, or a wreck mended by engineers, moved before the battle's paths were rebuilt.
